Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump met an Indian-American rally in Houston, Taxas as their nations negotiate for easing trade tensions. Modi said Trump told him during their first meeting that India has a “true friend” in the White House, and the US leader’s presence at the event is proof of that. He also said he admired Trump’s “sense of leadership” and taking ties between the two nations to a new level. Trump said he was India's "best friend in the White House ever".India’s Petronet will invest $2.5 billion in Houston U.S. for 5 million metric tonnes of LNG per year. The Prime Minister invited the gathering to in turn give an ovation to Trump for his fight against terrorism.The Indian-American rally dubbed “Howdy Modi!” was held in 50,000-seat stadiums.
