After two confirmed Novel Coronavirus cases in Kerala, a third case has been confirmed in the state. The patient has been kept under isolation at the Kanhangad in Kasargode district and the condition of the youth, who was a student in Wuhan, is stable.On Sunday, the second case of coronavirus in the country was reported from the state. The patient is being monitored in an isolation ward in Alappuzha Medical College. The patient who first tested positive for coronavirus is currently hospitalised in Thrissur Medical College and her condition is stable.The virus is believed to have originated late last year in a food market in the Chinese city of Wuhan that was illegally selling wildlife. Health experts think it may have originated in bats and then passed to humans, possibly via another animal species.The World Health Organization (WHO) was alerted to several cases of pneumonia in Wuhan at the end of December. Chinese authorities confirmed they had identified a new virus a week later.
